About us

It’s a mad tea party with 2 crazy sisters and a̶n̶ 1̶1̶ a 12-pound, hot and big-eyed furry muse. Their mission: to publish poetry+prose with panache.

Established in 2016, PALOMA PRESS is an independent literary press publishing poetry, prose, and limited edition books. We accept solicited and unsolicited manuscripts, particularly the engagingly quirky and/or skillfully elegant.

The idea for a micro-press came about after sisters Aileen Cassinetto and Cecilia Ibardaloza discovered their interest in upcycling and creating handmade books. They christened their new project, “Paloma,” after Aileen’s poem “La Paloma,” and old street address. After a year of setbacks, it’s now onward and upward—toward beautiful bookmaking!
